At ARH, we believe that some of the best new leaders can be found right within our healthcare system. We celebrate the successes of numerous employees who have moved throughout our organization into key leadership positions.
With this in mind, last year we kicked off the inaugural class of the ARH Leadership Academy aimed at identifying ARH employees throughout ARH who could become future leaders within our organization. These employees were provided a year of hands-on training and activities to help them grow as leaders, personally and professionally.
As we are just completing our 2020 Leadership Academy, we are ready to recruit for the upcoming 2021 class of ARH emerging leaders.
Are you someone interested in participating with a dozen of your colleagues in this enriching experience?
The ARH Leadership Academy has been developed
out of a realization that our teams need leaders who understand the tactical and practical elements of leadership and who are able to envision a strong organization and inspire others to help build and sustain it.
Our first group of participants have had to lead through the pandemic and afterwards as we continue to recover. They have learned how to adapt to fast-changing situations, engage their staff in new ways, and build collaborative teams that would work better together. It has certainly been an unusual time for them, and each of us, to have to show our agility and fragility. But we have risen above the crisis and are working our way forward.
Now it is time to recruit the next team of emerging leaders for our organization, at every level.
Perhaps you are interested in learning how to develop and implement the skills you will need to become an effective, impactful leader at ARH.
Here are some of the qualities we are looking for in Leadership Academy participants:
- Taking on positions of leadership in the healthcare system and in your communities, contributing to ARH’s sustainable growth.
- Understanding and implementing ways to develop your staff to become the best that they can be.
- Focusing always on how to improve the patient’s experience.
- Mobilizing others across the institution to ensure that we think and act like a “system,” not a series of silos.
- Embrace change and enable others to understand our vision for the future and how they each play an important role in the ARH mission.
Through the Leadership Academy, you will find as much benefit in the bonding that you create with your colleagues as you will in the information, the application, and even the inspiration that comes from the program.
